The children in Nursery are trained to be safety inspectors. Firstly they put on their high visibility vests and pick up their clipboards ready to inspect the outdoor area. The children have to answer questions as to whether the play equipment is safe to use , if they decide it is not they hang a sign on the equipment to show children not to use it. It's really important that children learn about risk and dangerous situations and we believe it essential to start this process early!
